Bernie Gelb

Bernie Gelb has been a real estate broker in New York City for over 40 years. Since 1992 he has been the Director of Sales at the Ansonia Condominium. Prior to his tenure at the Ansonia, he was responsible for the successful conversion of two cooperative buildings, 3901 Independence Avenue in Riverdale and Nevada Towers at 2025 Broadway in Manhattan. He has simultaneously done private brokerage for individual clients. Over the course of his career, he has brokered aggregate sales in excess of $1 billion.

In the same time period, Bernie has represented Sponsors and individual unit owners in the rental of hundreds of apartments. His vast experience and deep sense of personal integrity are the core of his success. Sellers and landlords trust him to get the job done. Buyers and renters immediately recognize that they are dealing with a broker who is true to his word.

Bernie graduated from Brandeis University with a degree in psychology. He lives with his wife of 38 years in Rockland County.

To Jacob there is nothing more rewarding than bringing people to their new homes In addition to working in real estate Jacob is also an opera singer and actor, Jacob knows that having a good attitude makes all the difference. "Positivity is the name of the game. When you have that and an honest opinion, you can't lose."

Jacob came to real estate after working in sales at Williams-Sonoma, where he learned the importance of knowing your product and your customer. His goal is the same, to educate you, so you can use time more efficiently and feel confident making decisions.
